Yep if the mp3 is 320kbps and well ripped then it is pretty hard to tell the difference. I like the mp3 320kbps quality, I use it pretty often for me it is good enough, I am not an audiophile though.

When i listen to loud music or use angle grinders with no ear protection after 20 mins everything gets quieter. I've had ringing ears before but that was due to infection.

Defenitly a layered sound. A deep kick, a noise and some percussive sounds with pingpong and a lot of reverb

I know completely nothing about Electronic music, but I wanted to know how to recognize the different genres. I can see that you are trying to explain it as good as possible with words, but as a complete noob I don't even know how anything you described sounds like. So, I'll have to find another YT-video explaining the genres for me to be able to really understand what you were talking about.

When would aliasing be considered a positive or is there ever a place where it can be a positive? As some of the comments mention and quick search, analogue doesn't alias. I also just ran through some presets on Massive and they appear lacking on the low end, even for basses. Could this be caused due to aliasing as well or the engine's limitation?

Appreciate the confirmation, just getting into mastering specifics and couldn't understand why there were still sounds bleeding past my limiter ceiling. If you really want to understand why WAV is so unique, look into the 32bit Floating-Point. A format not supported by MP3.

It loops noticeablly because he didn't set the pitch bend range correctly for each oscillator accurately... Since there were supposed to be 4 'tones', he was supposed to set the pitch bend range for each oscillator to be 48st (4 Octaves) so the when he offsets the beginning of each individual LFO they start an octave apart...
